DesignPoint Hires Two Additional Designers

DesignPoint of Bethlehem, PA recently hired two designers to respond to the demand of the expanding design market.

Katherine Schilling

DesignPoint hired Katherine Schilling as an architectural designer to focus on clients’ space planning and space utilization. She will also assist with furniture design, finish selections, construction documents, 3-D renderings, and photo-realistic presentations. Schilling earned her Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology.

Katherine is an avid book collector and reader with an extensive library of her own. She loves traveling and has visited most of South America, North America, Europe and the Caribbean with her husband who is a commercial airline pilot and her two girls.

Carolyn Wilson

DesignPoint also hired Carolyn Wilson as an interior designer to strengthen the design team. Her specialty will be on furniture, fixtures and equipment design and planning to support the strong demand in DesignPoint’s senior living portfolio.  Wilson has over 15 years in the interior design industry, and she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She also holds an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Northampton Community College.

In her free time, she is an avid runner and swimmer and has participated in both marathons and half marathons for cancer fundraising. She enjoys reading, painting and drawing as well as finding and restoring antiques. When she is not at home, she enjoys traveling, visiting historical sites and collecting architectural prints from sites visited.
