Veritas Films desired an identity that is Western in its outlook without losing touch with its Arabic constituency.

The solution strongly resembles Arabic calligraphy, although it is in fact based more literally upon an English cursive ‘v’. The ‘calligraph’, as we dubbed it, succeeds with a balanced graphical symbiosis: star and Western letterform glyphs combined with Middle-Eastern romance and script into a novel, memorable grapheme which reads cross-culturally and easily.
